Injury Type

Aubrey Burks was a defensive back and special teams player on the Memphis Tigers football team from 2018 to 2020. He transferred to the West Virginia Mountaineers football program in 2021. In April 2022, Burks entered the transfer portal after being arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. He later withdrew his name from the portal and returned to the Mountaineers.

On November 5, 2022, Burks suffered a season-ending knee injury in a game against the Kansas Jayhawks. He had surgery on his knee on November 10, 2022.
