WMU Football Injury Report: Key Players Listed as 'Day-to-Day'
All-MAC WR, Rotational OL Among Injured Broncos
KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Western Michigan football released its first injury report of the 2023 season on Monday, and two key players are listed as "day-to-day."
All-MAC wide receiver Corey Crooms and rotational offensive lineman Adam Randall are both dealing with minor injuries, according to head coach Tim Lester.
Crooms' Impact
Crooms, a senior from Detroit, is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the MAC. He led the Broncos in receiving yards (954) and touchdowns (11) last season.
Randall's Role
Randall, a redshirt junior from Grand Rapids, has started 10 games in his career. He is expected to compete for a starting role on the offensive line this season.
Injury Severity
Lester did not provide specific details about the injuries, but he said that both players are expected to be ready for the season opener against Michigan State on Sept. 2.

No other players were listed on the injury report.
Outlook
The Broncos are hoping to have both Crooms and Randall healthy for the start of the season. Both players are key components of Western Michigan's offense, which is expected to be one of the most potent in the MAC.
